Pohodniške poti v Metliki

In the fresh air of unspoiled nature

Explore the banks of the Kolpa River, flat grassy landscapes, vineyard-covered hills or forested slopes by bike or on foot. Breathe in the fresh air of the unspoiled nature of Bela Krajina and recharge your energy. A favourite viewpoint among locals and hikers is undoubtedly the 17-metre-high observation tower on Krašnji Vrh, offering a stunning panoramic view of the entire Bela Krajina region and a large part of Croatia. Cycling routes are also well maintained and often avoid main roads, leading instead into hidden corners of untouched nature. The banks of the Kolpa River are lined with narrow, easy trails that lead to natural attractions and campsites, where visitors can take a break and refresh themselves. More demanding cycling routes take you across vineyards to tourist farms and wine cellars.
