The Institute for Tourism, Culture, Sport and Youth Metlika is launching the “School for life” project, implemented within the European Solidarity Corps programme. The project will run from June 2025 to May 2026 and includes young people aged 15 to 30, especially those with fewer opportunities.

Over the next 12 months, young people will work together with local craftsmen to renovate the premises of the Metlika youth centre, organise entrepreneurship, digital and creative workshops, and set up an EU corner and a youth café. The aim of the project is to empower young people with life skills, increase their social inclusion and improve the long-term conditions for youth activities in Metlika.
