The first organised walk around Metlika took place on 26 April 1998, organised by the Metlika Local Community in celebration of the town\u2019s holiday, marking 29 April 1365, when Metlika was granted town rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone eager to explore the historical and cultural landmarks of the old town squares and the surrounding area can join the walk.
