{"id":1469,"date":"2025-02-04T17:46:34","date_gmt":"2025-02-04T17:46:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/metlika-turizem.si\/?post_type=kulturne-znamenitost&#038;p=1469"},"modified":"2025-02-04T17:46:34","modified_gmt":"2025-02-04T17:46:34","slug":"galerija-kambic-2","status":"publish","type":"kulturne-znamenitost","link":"https:\/\/metlika-turizem.si\/en\/kulturne-znamenitost\/galerija-kambic-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Kambi\u010d Gallery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In 2003, the Bela Krajina Museum gratefully and with great responsibility accepted the donation of the late Metlika-born academic Prof Dr Vinko Kambi\u010d, an internationally renowned otorhinolaryngologist, and his wife, opera singer Vilma Bukovec Kambi\u010d, a long-time leading soloist of the Ljubljana Opera and a two-time recipient of the Pre\u0161eren Award.\n\nThe collection, of national importance, consists of cultural-historical objects (paintings on glass, furniture, clocks, lighting and decorative arts) as well as artworks by various Slovenian artists, ranging from the generation of realists and impressionists to contemporary creators. A special place is certainly held by the prominent impressionist Rihard Jakopi\u010d, while twelve works by one of the most successful painters, Zoran Mu\u0161i\u010d, are also featured. The collection includes works by Bo\u017eidar Jakac and Maksim Gaspari, as well as three pieces each by France Pavlovec and Stane Kregar. Lojze Perko is represented with two paintings that nostalgically celebrate the beauty of the Slovenian landscape.\n\nSeven works by academic painter Janez Bernik, one of the leading figures of the generation educated at the Ljubljana Academy, are also on display. Visitors can also view works by Slovenia\u2019s leading colourist Andrej Jemec, a painting by Marijan Tr\u0161ar, four acrylic works by Jo\u017ee Ciuha, and numerous other artworks by various authors, including sculptures by Drago Tr\u0161ar and Stojan Bati\u010d.<\/p>","protected":false},"featured_media":1445,"parent":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"class_list":["post-1469","kulturne-znamenitost","type-kulturne-znamenitost","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/metlika-turizem.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/kulturne-znamenitost\/1469","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/metlika-turizem.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/kulturne-znamenitost"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/metlika-turizem.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/kulturne-znamenitost"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/metlika-turizem.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/1445"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/metlika-turizem.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1469"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
